Business coach, and founder of New Kings Coffee
Jason Nichols is a business coach in Bristol who works with founders across the UK.
He spent years in banking before taking a leap to start his own business, and by his own account got almost everything wrong for two years: no customer persona, no value proposition, no real plan, just a logo and a website. He then built New Kings Coffee into what he calls a recognised FMCG brand, and sold it in 2024 after eight years.
In between he was an Entrepreneur Acceleration Manager at NatWest, coaching over 200 entrepreneurs across more than 750 hours of one-to-one work. He has now coached more than 300 founders, and writes openly about what those first two years cost him.
