60 covers Reserve

Souk Kitchen has traded on North Street, directly opposite the Tobacco Factory Theatre, since 2010 -- at sixteen years old it is comfortably the most established venue in this entire batch, well outside the brief's "1 to 4 years" window, but it has clearly not gone stale: Restaurant Guru shows 4.6 out of 5 across 1,699 reviews, the single largest review volume found anywhere across all 41 candidates researched in this project, a genuinely strong "still busy, still loved" signal for a restaurant well into its second decade. The food is bold Middle Eastern and North African small plates, mezze, dips, tagines and grills, inspired by the souks of Damascus, Marrakech and Beirut, served in a bright, candy-coloured room with shelves of couscous, saffron and rosewater -- independent reviewers single out the sheer variety on offer, with one Bristol24/7 review headline built entirely around the "endless ways to eat pomegranate seeds" on the menu.

The clearest structural strength for this series, confirmed directly against Souk Kitchen's own published hours rather than inferred, is that dinner service runs Monday through Saturday, 5pm to 9:30pm, with lunch added Wednesday to Saturday -- making it, alongside Koocha Mezze Bar in the Stokes Croft batch, one of only two venues found across this entire project trading a genuine, full Monday dinner service without caveat. The existing research's "often full per recent reviews" flag is a real and fair caveat on top of that strength, though, and worth taking seriously: a sixteen-year institution with nearly 1,700 reviews plausibly does turn away or fully book walk-in covers on a normal night, even if the kitchen itself is happy to trade Monday.

The venue's own private-hire page confirms full-venue hire for up to 60 guests, with flexibility described for smaller, more intimate group bookings too -- a real, already-existing mechanism for exactly the kind of pre-arranged 10-cover booking this series needs, though no pricing was published and would need a direct enquiry. North Street here is the same increasingly food-forward Bedminster/Southville strip as COR, Sonny Stores and The Malago.
